This is a ZIP file that is a little less than 1 GB in size. To browse a text-format change-log, use either of the following links:ġ2) The Linux Minetest Kit. Warning: Due to the use of rolling releases, any particular copy of prod.torrent might expire after a day or less.ġ1) Text-format change-log. If you're a BitTorrent user, try feeding the file prod.torrent linked below to a BitTorrent client: You can grab the main set of source archives using a single BitTorrent transfer. If you'd like to download and work with the source code for the source code, that will increase minimum disk space requirements to about 15 GB.ġ0) BitTorrent dump. The last part, source code for the source code, is for people who'd like total control and the ability to rework everything. Regular worlds will add 1 GB to 25 GB per world.Ġ9) Final Minetest comes with source code for Linux, source code for Windows, and source code for the source code. A few very small worlds will be included in that. However, the worlds will only work with Final Minetest servers.Ġ8) You'll need a few GB of free disk space, perhaps 5 GB total, to build servers and clients.
You will be able to use them either at home in private setups or on public servers. This will include both nice starter worlds and famous old worlds. This is in progress.Ġ7) A number of ready to use Minetest worlds will be added when we can afford the disk space needed.

However, we'll need to update the Windows code. Don't try to use them in Multicraft or Trolltest worlds.Ġ6) Microsoft Windows is supported, too. But they are for use with Final Minetest servers or private Final Minetest setups.
Minetest download mods#
The mods have a massive number of bug fixes and features. The "_games" are also known as "modsets". They're not for younger ages or for people who don't do Linux builds.Ġ5) There are a huge number of mods organized into a few "_games". They're easy for Linux tech types ages 15 and up to build. We don't know yet if the mobile clients will continue to be compatible.Ġ4) The servers and clients are source code for different types of Linux. For 2023, though, the MultiCraft 1 and 2, Minetest Classic 0.4, and Trolltest mobile clients all work with Final Minetest servers.

However, Mac OS X clients can connect to Final Minetest servers.Ġ3) There is no separate Final Minetest mobile client. Final Minetest supports Windows but even the Windows part is built under Linux or BSD.Ġ2) We're sorry, but there is no direct Mac OS X support. This Minetest is especially suited to former Minecraft modders and adult edutech or tinkerer types who'd like a stable, fast, and flexible platform to work with.Ġ1) Final Minetest is for adult or teenage Linux or BSD CLI people. However, if the following is clear, this is the Best Test for you. Or ask a tech family member or friend for help. If the following is too tech, you should get Multicraft instead. I have tried some super simple tests using VG eg removed hunger and map mods to see if that helped but no luck so not sure where else to look.Įssentially just flagging this to a higher power(s) in case it's something more serious :)Įdit: I did some more digging and added some notes to the above post link - somethings changed just not sure what I believe it has to do with VG overriding the default health or breath bars but I don't know why as the code looks okay in VG>Default>gui.This page will provide or link to a pile of Final Minetest code. It's also way above my head and debug is not being super useful: I'm just going to cross-post this, clearly Voxelgarden needs an update but I'm not sure if other games/mods might not have similar issues with some change between 5.5.0 and 5.5.1?
